That might mean a deep drive to push your opponent back, a dink to their weaker side, or a shot to the middle that creates confusion. Each of these builds pressure and increases the chance of a pop-up or short return.
Instead of forcing a winner, think one step ahead: What shot gives me an easier next ball? Build the point with intention, and the winner will come naturally.
