Hybrid Shape

It took 18 months of development and more than 200 prototypes to get the design just right to produce the TruFoam Genesis paddle.

TruFoam Genesis breaks new ground as the first tournament-approved performance paddle with a 100% foam core. By engineering an entirely new core technology that eliminates the need for outdated materials, Gen-4 boosts strength and performance, setting a new standard and paving the way for future innovations in foam-only paddle technology from CRBN and other manufacturers.

  • Spin & Dwell
Generating spin isn’t just about surface roughness. We feel the core is even more important. The TruFoam Genesis core was engineered to maximize dwell time and flex, replicating the dynamics of a tennis racket. You’re going to love how much shape you can put on the ball.
  • Balanced Power
This isn’t the most powerful paddle on the market—and that’s intentional. The TruFoam Genesis offers more power than the X Series, earning its place as a ‘Power Paddle,’ but it’s not off the charts like paddles from some other brands. Uncontrollable power doesn’t help most players win more matches, and it won’t be a long-term option as USAPA and UPA-A look to rein in the outliers in 2025. The TruFoam Genesis paddles are designed to comply with current and future paddle regulations.
  • Thickness Simplicity
Gone are the days of trying to decide between 12mm, 14mm, and 16mm paddles. With the TruFoam Genesis core technology, there’s no reason to have cores of different thicknesses. Previous paddle generations had to rely on core thickness to balance power and control due to the limitations of manipulating honeycomb polypropylene.
The Genesis core and all future TruFoam Series iterations allow to customize the performance of the core on a granular level. The foam density and structure can be adjusted to meet whatever power/control specifications are desired.
  • Paddle Face
The TruFoam Genesis features a unique T700 raw carbon fiber layup unlike any other paddle out there including the CRBN X and CRBN Classic Series paddles. An added layer of fiberglass is included for strength and performance.
